Can anyone recommend a low loss optical cable for getting the SPDIF signal from my Freeview receiver to my PC's soundcard? Am not an hi-fi enthusiast, but just been given 100 pre-recorded classical music reel to reel tapes scotch over the hour each plus about 6x 2500ft unused tape, and a Tandberg tape deck 3500X without an amplifier.Haven't got a clue if they would be useful to anyone. Never see the point of recording music seeing as how there is so much available on radio/tv.e.g. Classic FM.
