The Definitive Chord & Scale Bible - Literally EVERY chord and scale! by
Kind of Blue 4513254
Finally it exists!! IF YOU PLAY GUITAR, YOU NEED THIS BOOK!! Listen
to my story:
In the process of teaching myself guitar, I went looking for a book
that simply had the all the chords, scales and modes, and nothing else.
I was totally surprised to find that such a book didn't exist. There
are plenty of places to find this information, but it tends to be
spread out over the coarse of a...

Oktava silver MK219 1990 FS London by
ross
Selling the last few silver mics I've held on to for 11 years starting
with this one, a 1990 version with din connector and a long lead which I
have converted(by popular demand) to small tail with XLR plug.
Ive recently unpacked these few from their original Russian polystyrene
cases - they have been kept in a regulated atmosphere all this time -
and tested them.
In the original case was...

Boosting Sound by
Dave
I hope that this is the correct place to ask this question - if not please
forgive me.
I have some recorded sound that was recorded live in a theatre as part of a
video recording. Unfortunately the cameraman was unable to get a sound feed
from the mixer board so just used the on board mics.
The result is that the sound is rather ropey.
What I want to do is possibly something similar to what...

aluminium anodizing by
Oddjob
Hello all, I'm after a product that when brushed onto an aluminium surface,
transforms and turns it black. A friend of mine tells me it is a clear
liquid.
Does anybody know off this chemical?
I believe it to be quite corrosive.
thx

Online Hi-Fi reviews by
[email protected]
Hi,
I am just about to enter the market for a new multi-media amp to
support at least 6.1 audio channels with multiple formats, i.e. Dolby
surround and THX etc. I will be using this amp to play audio from my
home theatre PC and Digital tuner.
I would appreciate it if someone could point me towards some online
reviews or give me a breakdown of what is the best VFM in the sub £500
range.

CD markers -- what's safe? by
binary
Online sources such as
http://www.mrichter.com/cdr/primer/labels.htm
advise to use felt pens with water-soluble ink, for labeling CD-R.
My neigborhood Staples store carries only one kind of markers
specifically for CDs, Staedtler Lumocolor. The package says "safe for
labeling CD discs" but I see it is waterproof, so likely not water-soluble.
Any opinions or advice from experts?

New Quad Equipment at Discounted Prices? by
JJC
Unlike many mainstream brands, such as Sony, Technics etc, so-called 'real
Hi-Fi' equipment is generally not sold by mail order vendors, only at Hi-Fi
shops, who rarely offer discounts.
I do not require the services that a Hi-Fi shop can offer (demonstrations,
equipment loans, equipment installation etc.) so I do not want to pay their
sizeable slice of the retail price - does anyone know how I...

Info On Mission 732 Speakers. by
soinie
Can anyone give me any info on the 732s, particularly their sound
quality? I realize they are a number of years old, 8 perhaps? I am
looking for a pair of inexpensive speakers and have the opportunity to
buy these for a good price but not to audition them. I've heard
Missions previously and have liked their overall sound. Since Mission
is a UK company I thought this might be the place to ask....

Wanted: 24 * QED Airloc Banana Plugs [+ fitting] by
Alex Williamson
I'm looking to have two pairs of biwire QED cables (which I already own)
fitted with QED Airloc Banana plugs using QED's Airloc Crimp tool. Any
suggestions on who'll give me the best deal? I'm not too fussed as to
whether it's the MK-1 or MK-2 plugs (although I'd hope the price might be a
bit lower if I go for MK-1s).
Also: one of the Biwire sets is actually four runs two strand (i.e. not...
