Hi there, I bought a pair of Dynaudio Acoustic C3 speakers and like to read a manual (I'm not secure of their roomplacing-preferences) I already mailed Dynaudio, but the monitors are too old that they have any information for me (except of a spec-sheet).

My sound was a bit tinny so I went into the Realtek HD Audio to change the settings. I don't know what I changed, only the room type I think and now I can't get any sound at all, although the volume control is showing sound.

Could someone remind me of the simple test involving placing 'left' and 'right' speakers close together facing each other please? Am I right in recalling that they are in correct 'phase' when the volume sounds reduced/muffled? Or is it the reverse?
