I have a 30 year old Panasonic SG-1010L music centre and the ceramic stylus and cartridge have been damaged. Would anyone know where I might get a replacement. I do know that the centre has been discontinued by Panasonic and thus replacements aren't available. Any help would be gratefully accepted

Manual/Circuit wanted by [email protected]
Hi I'm not sure if this is the correct Newsgroup or not but I am looking for information (preferably a workshop manual or circuit) on a 'Trucker P.A.' made by Custom Sound (Solid State Technology) Ltd of Arthur Street, Oswestry, I think probably in the 1970s. Should be grateful if anyone has any ideas as to where I can get one (a manual, not the PA!).

Win 95 Power Tools/DVD writer problems by Keith G
I mentioned Win 95 Power Tools a few days back as I had just installed it to be able to produce directory names (albums) in a list. Do *not* install this on an XP machine without great care. In fact, do NOT install it at all - it infested my machine with a number of other little utilities I didn't want, put a load of crap in my Startup and caused problems with my DVD writer. I got a 'Blank...

Another listening comparison... by Keith G
OK, for those who like this sort of thing, here are two tracks of totally different recordings of the same piece of music: http://www.apah69.dsl.pipex.com/show/Jazztrack01.mp3 http://www.apah69.dsl.pipex.com/show/Jazztrack02.mp3 A number of factors separate them, not the least of which is the passage of more than a decade!

PPM Drive c ard by fredbloggstwo
Hi all, any exBBC engineers floating around? I am trying to get some information about a BBC PPM drive card. It is the one used to drive the Sifam dual needle unit (red and green needles AB/MS etc.) It appears to use digital-based sampling to perform the characteristics. It also has 4 small pots along the top and an 8 way DIP switch bank. All the inputs are all on a 25 way D type connector ,...

Anyone got a circuit diagram of this 1980's integrated amp? I've been given one as a fixer upper and I need to establish what the output transistors are. As the originals are missing it's a bit hard to ID the type nos. :) I think (from memory ) they may be BDTxx. Thanks Mike
