Sorry if this is a really dumb question, but if I wanted to run four speakers off an amp with only two outputs, is there a gizmo that would let me do it? And if so, what should I look for, and what sort of cost might be involved? Thanks for any advice.

I've got one of these in for repair (one channel down) and it appears to be the balance control that's faulty. Cleaning helped in that it now worked at max (on the faulty channel) but nothing in the middle. Opening it up revealed a crack in the track. It's a special in that the first half of the rotation stays at low ohms while the second goes from that to 50k. The other channel, the mirror...

Hi, Could someone give me a measurement of the thickness & hole diameter for the original Rega Planar 3 glass platter? I've seen some on eBay, but their hole size in photographs looks larger than my spindle on my rubbish dump rescued deck (Is the Rega 2 a different size I wonder?). I've tried to find out what the differences are between the various Gyger stylus profiles:- Type I, Type II, Type S and any other Gyger profiles. I can't find a Fritz Gyger website, and Goldring's isn't terribly helpful. If anyone can point me to a website that shows and/or explains the Gyger profiles, or has any more info, I'd appreciate it.
